About Morten
I offer support, guidance, and developmental programs within a wide range of themes and issues, both in private life and in the workplace. My areas of work include everything from trauma treatment and stress management to family issues, organizational development, supervision, and individual coaching. I work with children, adolescents, couples, families, managers, and employees, helping with the challenges that can arise in different phases of life.
These typically involve stress, anxiety, or depression, which may be triggered by experiences such as job loss, betrayal, illness, loss, or the pressure to perform at one’s best. These complex situations can be difficult to handle alone, which is why professional help can be crucial.
Values
Life can at times feel heavy, and it can be difficult to find a way forward. It is important that you are met with both understanding and inclusivity, but also with an encouragement not to dwell on the difficult parts longer than necessary. When we find lightness, it opens the door to creative thoughts and new possibilities. Therapy is allowed to be light and playful, as long as you feel seen and understood—that balance is most important to me. In this way, the therapy becomes most effective, and you will experience the greatest progress in the shortest possible time.
Approach
I view a psychological process as a “pit stop” in life, where we together explore new angles, perspectives, and solutions to the challenges you face. Here, we find the tools that can support you further in life. The process can be short-term, but I also offer longer-term sessions focusing on deeper existential and personal development.
With my broad theoretical background, we can choose the approach that best suits you and your situation. I work appreciatively based on systemic, narrative, solution-focused, existential, cognitive, and metacognitive understandings.

Most recently, I have specialized in the field of trauma and now offer EMDR treatment for both children and adults.
Experience
With over 30 years of experience, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in many different contexts. For the past 15 years, I have also supervised social workers, psychologists, teachers, educators, and other professionals in municipalities, as well as coached managers and employees in private companies.
Previously, I have worked as a manager, teacher, and instructor for adults.
